# Upcoming meetings and quick join

Your next meetings show under **Upcoming** in the [Inbox](/docs/using-soda/inbox), and in the **Upcoming meetings** tile in the bottom-left corner. You can join any of them from there.

## Join a meeting

Click the button on the meeting. What it does depends on your **Quick join meetings** setting:

* **Join with Notepad** opens the meeting and a notepad for it. This is the default.
* **Join** opens only the meeting.

Soda listens either way.

To change it, go to **Settings** > **Preferences** and choose an option from **Quick join meetings**. With **Join with Notepad**, two more switches set how the notepad sits on your screen: **Pin Notepad to top** and **Auto-position Notepad to right of screen**.

## More options

Right-click the button to see every option for that meeting. Choose **Join**, **Join with Notepad**, or **Create Notepad**. **Create Notepad** is for a meeting with no link, so you can still take notes. Click the meeting link in the menu to copy it.

## Catch up before you join

Tap ⌘ twice (⌘⌘) before a meeting with someone you've spoken to recently, and Soda may suggest "Recap my last call with Anna". See [Search with ⌘⌘](/docs/using-soda/search).

## If you see Connect your calendar

Upcoming meetings come from your calendar. Click **Connect your calendar** to connect one. See [Integrations](/docs/integrations/overview).
