You change or reset your password in your browser, using a link Soda emails you.
Signed in with Google or Microsoft? You don’t have a Soda password. Change your password with Google or Microsoft instead.

Change your password

Open Preferences

Go to Settings > Preferences.

Click Change password

It’s under Account. Your browser opens.

Enter your email address

Soda emails you a link.

Set a new password

Open the link in the email and choose a new password.

Forgotten your password

In the Soda sign-in window, click Trouble signing in?, then click Forgotten password. Your browser opens. Then follow steps 3 and 4 above.

After you set a new password

You’re signed out everywhere, including Soda on your Mac. That way, anyone using your old password loses access too. Your browser shows Password updated. Sign in to Soda with your new password.

Password rules

Your password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.
